Indian impressions

KUKAnians are around the world. Our colleagues Reinhard Mrosko, site manager and Sebastian Mocker, project manager design mechanics are currently on the ground in India and describe their impressions: “India is a country with two sides: on the one hand the traditional, more conservative India with its ancient cultures, on the other hand the emerging industrial nation. This difference becomes clear at the latest after leaving the airport. On the streets you will find traditionally dressed Indians beside West dressed, motorcycles jostle between cars and bicycles, pedestrians and horses. And in the middle of this chaos a few cows are comfortably on the crossing and are dozing. KUKA India builds for an automotive supplier a protective arc welding line for ladder-type frames. The line is already at the customers site and our Indian staff just commissioned and optimize it with support from KUKA Augsburg. Here, later once a total of 18 different versions will be produced. The challenge is especially to put together several devices to save space.” But take a look – here you can find some impressions of India and the site.
